Advocates for Native Issues, LLC offers legislative advocacy services to clients for federal and state legislative initiatives. Whether changing existing law, seeking new legislation, or seeking to impact pending legislation, your interests will be represented by ANI. Our principals and consultants have demonstrated experience and success in working directly with policy makers to effectuate change on behalf of our clients.

 

Administrative Policy Advocacy

 

Advocates for Native Issues, LLC engages in administrative policy advocacy on behalf of clients for development of federal, state and tribal regulation. From crafting responses from client stakeholder groups for proposed regulation, to advising clients on compliance and implementation, our principals and consultants participate in all aspects of the governmental regulatory functions that impact our clients.

 

Cooperative Agreements

 

Advocates for Native Issues, LLC strategizes with clients on a diverse range of agreements, including intergovernmental cooperative agreements, memoranda of understanding, letters of intent, contracts and compacts. Our principals and consultants understand the unique opportunities for collaboration. We provide advice on initial strategy and implementation of agreements.  ANI is not a law firm.  Legal service needs of clients are provided by licensed attorneys under seperate referral. 

Grant Writing

 

Advocates for Native Issues, LLC principals and consultants have decades of combined experience writing grant applications and funding requests for clients seeking governmental or private funding. Our experience spans the entire spectrum of fundraising, from federal and state agency requests for proposals to private foundation applications.

Curriculum Development

 

Advocates for Native Issues, LLC develops curriculum for delivery to a diverse set of client groups. Whether curriculum is needed for client employees, community members, potential partners or school groups, ANI can develop a tribe-specific curriculum with materials to help educate client constituencies.
